So I am curious if anyone knows where to get pre/post assembly T-nuts for 2020 extruded aluminum and other joining hardware in this fair city of ours?
Rocky Mountain Motion distributes 8020 brand extrusion and hardware, but it’s fairly pricey and they only stock fractional so that’s not going to work with 2020 extrusion. If you want them fast, Misumi USA is probably your best bet. If you want them cheap, then Aliexpress. I just ordered some spring loaded roll in nuts from Ali, something like $20 for 50, but I won’t see them until mid July.

not sure if this fits your extrusion, but Lee Valley has some t-nuts and bolts
Supposedly fastenal has 8020 as well but I’ve never checked the stores themselves. It might be a special order thing.
I’ve worked mostly with Rexroth extrusion which you can get at Surrey Fluid Power (http://www.sfpa.bc.ca/) who are quite helpful. That’s all metric in varying sizes but, I’ll warn, the t-slot nuts are very expensive through them. Good quality, mind, but expensive.
Thanks for all the suggestions, I am trying to assemble a Folger Tech 2020 I3 #d printer however i have found many flaws (according to my high standards of course haha) and thought if I could find some near by I would just go pick them up… no luck no matter how hard i looked.
The only avenue that I was unable to follow thru was going to fastenal… I had tried them a couple days ago however they wont even answer your questions if you do not have a business # or an account with them…
