I’m building a thickness sander. I’ve already roughed out the drum and I’m about to embark on building the table. While I don’t think I’ll build a conveyor belt to start with, I’d like to design it with that as a future possibility.

So! Anyone have any ideas on how I would build an inexpensive conveyor belt? My initial thought is rolling pins holding a very large sanding belt stretched over the table.
