Terriblehack

How about a Terriblehack event. I am happy to organize this. Here is a description of the event from the Waterloo group that run these.
Most hackathons are about coming up with innovative new ideas and making
plausible startup prototypes. TerribleHack is different. This one is
about having fun and programming for the sake of programming, even if it
means reinventing a less efficient wheel.TerribleHack
has become a beloved tradition in Waterloo, more people attend it with
every iteration and it keeps getting progressively worse (better). This
term we were tasked with running the largest TerribleHack yet with 100+
hackers attending. We were absolutely amazed at the quality of
submissions and the quality of work that our hackers were able to create
in just 12 hours.

I would have a blast at this. ++

Yes yes yes!

I’m signed up for the Toronto One next month. We’ll see how it goes.

Sounds like fun.
I’ll be sure to get some more hotglue and zapstraps in preparation.

I suck and I missed the dealine to sign up on eventbrite, but if there is room, I’d like to do my tin-can-packet thing.

@toptekkie I’ve got 10 paper coffee cups, less than I thought. I also have a shelf of regular mugs, so I’ll bring 10 of those as well. I’ll be bringing the paper cups to the ARC meeting tonight.

@RobMacKenzie this makes 19 terribleHackers - limit was 20 - so you are in
I’ll get you the info package later tonite when I get home
