Would the members / directors authorize the money to purchase a pallet jack? Feels like the sort of thing that the hack space should own. Here’s a couple for under $200.

Someone found a place selling new ones for $150. The thought was that we likely won’t use it after we’re moved in, and we don’t really have the space to store it. They’re extremely common in warehouses, we should be able to get someone to loan us one.
We can always try to sell it after the move.
I think the issue is that you want it always there for a while. I have one that I can lend out for a day at a time, but as at my shop, we use it pretty much every other day, we can’t lend it out for more that a day at a time. People who have them use them.

If we get Cook St location we will need one again in a couple of years won’t we.
Renting one for a week is $90.00. May as well buy one.
Yes, we could sell it, but for $150 I’d say just store it under a pallet so we have it when we need it. At any rate, we can always decide that after we move and see how much space there really is. The point is we need a jack yesterday.
