Awesome!
I also added Axe, Quill, Mill
Awesome!
I also added Axe, Quill, Mill
I was thinking adz, but Axe is much better. In a pinch, O could be an orbital sander... But there must be a better answer
I will !miss your games of scattergories when you finish this project
A few thoughts - great selection so far
A = Anvil
E = Easel
I = Iron (soldering)
J = Jigsaw Puzzle
U = U-bolt
X = XYZ Axis
Z = Zipper
The start was fun, but finding the hard letters like XYZ and Q, I, has been frustrating.
Awesome, Added it
I was thinking about doing this on the Math section.
Updated tools section.
Just need O, X,Y,Z, 7, 9 getting close.

AwlJoiner
Umbrella for democracy of course
Just make zero “Measure twice cut once” It is already the random block with her name on one face, right?
X for X Windows?Xenon?xylophone?
Y for Yaw? (As in Yaw, Pitch and Roll)Yarn (for crafting)Yarrowflowering herb growing in moist areas; milfoil, used once to stop blood flow
Yoke (as in Scotch Yoke) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotch_yoke
Z for Zeppelin?Ziggurat?
Zygote (for the junior biohacker)
Suggestions from my work
Animals
Change Emu to Elk
Fix the spelling mistake for Lion
U = Urchin
Q = Quail
J = Joey
Tools
S = Scope
Math
P = changed to Pi
L = Log
Q = Quadratic equation
X = XOR
Y = Y-Axis
N = Newtons Law F=MA
W = Webber
Or maybe Eric should be the “key” block. Each side describes the set so Math, Tools, etc
DYAC Zero should be the key block, not Eric.
O for Oscilloscope
J is for “jack”, like a car jack.
z is for zip tie
Animals
So HARD !
There isn’t even mythical creatures that start with x
There is not even an extinct animals that start with X
There even no deities that with
The closest thing I can find is an Xorn
At this point I think i am going to have to make up an creature for the letter X.
Xbin
Its a creatures that hides the exact resistor that you are looking for when you need it. Eats socks, Weakens shoe laces, drains your cell phone batteries, Makes avocados go bad early.
Note: To the people that discover animals, bugs, and germs. Start it with an X and you will be included with on all alphabetical animal lists.
I once played around with a Xoloitzcuintle, they’re quite weird to touch because the skin feels a bit clammy and warmer than you would expect, they’re quite the hispster pet in Mexico. I was told that the aztecs used them for hunting, in groups they would have a couple of point dogs to distract the prey, and the rest would flank it. Rather than biting they would stomp with their paws, which seem to be quite pointy.
Looked up Xolos on wiki. That is a cool creation myth
"According to Aztec mythology, the god Xolotl made the Xoloitzcuintli from a sliver of the Bone of Life from which all mankind was made. Xolotl gave this gift to Man with the instruction to guard it with his life and in exchange it would guide Man through the dangers of Mictlan, the world of Death, toward the Evening Star in the Heavens. "
Just saw this related to the math Y (never seen it before, but from the explanation it sounds cool, and maybe in the future kids will learn lambda calculus in elementary school, right):

“This is a formula called the Y Combinator. It is a fixed-point combinator in the lambda calculus and was discovered by Haskell Curry, a rather prolific mathematician and logician whose work helped start Computer Science.
What this formula does is calculates the fixed point of a function, which in turn allows for recursion by calling on that fixed point; recursion is perhaps the single most important concept in Computer Science. Being a computer scientist and a mathematician, this formula is very important to me and represents the innate beauty of computer science and mathematical logic”
