Awesome! I’ve looked at my parts a couple of times this week (insanely busy this week though so no chance to do anything with them)… but I’d love to join in on the group build night as I’ve never used a reflow oven. Sounds like it could make my life slightly easier!

I cut some acrylic plates on the laser for this project today. You can get the cad files from http://dangerous-prototypes-open-hardware.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Sick_of_Beige/Hardware/
Note that the top does not have cutouts for all the connectors, you need to mount it at the right height so the connector entries are below the acrylic but there is still enough above to turn them.
I’ll also attach the dxf files I used.

Rediscovered 2 of these kits while cleaning out my storage and wondering if any value for me to complete these. Thoughts, comments, suggestions?
Well if you need a power supply they are handy. I actually still haven’t built mine either. It’s amazing this was 11 years ago.
11 years ago indeed. Guess I an not the only one that starts (buys) and then doesn’t finish projects 
I do have various ATX psu’s I’ve picked up over the years and for Ham radio usage, this might have value, will have to poke into the “projects in-progress” bin and see what else is waiting in there for me.

Sounds like a plan. I still have many of the things we built in Tom’s SMD workshops (makeymakey, bus pirate, etc). So good. And probably a few other of his projects that I haven’t finished either. 
There is a tote above one of the elex benches with various @TomKeddie PCBs for anyone interested…..

I think I also have the SMD solder paste stencil for the star.
