Windows 10 IoT on Raspberry Pi 2

Microsoft released the Windows 10 preview and the Windows 10 IoT embedded this week. The Windows IoT embedded is installable on the Raspberry PI 2. One of the nice features is that you can do remote debugging of your applications running on the Raspberry PI 2 from your Windows 10 preview PC running Visual studios 2015 (Community Edition, etc…).

This tuesday ( May 5th) I will be at VHS setting up the tool chain and walking thought the “build: Hands-on-lab IoT Weather Station using Windows 10” including setting Windows 10 preview, Visual studios 2015, Raspberry Pi 2, Azure running Connect The Dots under the free service level.

I have never done this before, but if anyone wants to join me, we can work it out together.
Ensure that you have a Raspberry PI two (2), the one with 1gb of ram, not the old version with 512mb ram.

We where successful and got Windows 10 IoT running on a Raspberry PI and remote debugging c++ code via Visual studios from my PC. This is very exciting to me.

Just tested Raspberry Pi 3 and it works with Windows 10 IoT.
Bluetooth, Wifi, still only has one serial port exposed.
