Can I pay someone to help?
I tried changing the oil for the first time on a Yaris I got earlier this year. It was easy to remove the plug to the oil pan and drain the oil. But it’s impossible for me to turn the filter. It won’t turn at all. I’ve tried using my hands. I tried using different tools from Canadian Tire (3-jaw tool, loop tool, claw tool). With the 3-jaw tool, I got great grip but still it wouldn’t turn at all. The filter even got crushed.
Toyota located just 300 meters south of Van Hack Space (2 minute drive).
