Where to buy a sim card cutter or get micro cut to nano in downtown Vancouver or East vancouver

I’ve got a micro sim from an iphone 4 that I need to cut down to nano sim size for an iphone 5. Any suggestions on where to:

  1. get this sim card cut down
  2. where to by the sim card cutter

I already have a regular to micro sim cutter (Noosy brand) but it doesn’t seem to have a replaceable blade/template to cut from micro to nano sadly.

You can print out templates and cut them down to size with scissors or a
razor blade, in a pinch. It’s not particularly hard, and worst case, you
have to buy another $10 SIM card.

Oh I know I “can” do that, I choose not to, as I’ve BTDT, not interested in
doing it again. That’s why I already have a standard to micro cutter.

you can get the cutters/punches in chinatown. Just find a cell phone accessories store and ask for one. They’re a dime a dozen in Hong Kong, so you can usually get them at bargain prices.

How many SIM cards do you need to cut?

I’ve had bad results with those cutters, I think London drugs might be able to do it, the one at Brentwood certainly can.

I didn’t even know you could do that. Good to know so maybe save $10.

Most stores charge $5 to cut the sim card for you, that gets expensive fast
when you have multiple phones in the family.

I ended up at International Village and bought a cutter for about $15
including taxes, took it back the next day as it was the wrong size, paid $25
total for a new cutter that does all 3 variations
