Where can I get 2mm diameter clear Arylic rods?

Anyone know where I can get 2mm diameter clear Acrylic rods? I’ve check Associated Plastics and their rods are too thick…

any help would be appreciated.

I have purchased larger tube from the US, Plexiglass Clear Extruded Acrylic Tube from ePlastics at decent prices (shipped to Blaine).

Fibre-tek on Boundary and first also has a variety of sizes. Worth calling
them at least.

What are you using it for? Smallest we’ve seen is 1/8" and we had to
machine the diameter down for lenses.

If straightness doesn’t matter, there’s a roll of 1.75mm PETG printer filament at the space. It’s not acrylic but it’s optically clear. And I’ve got lots of 3mm PETG filament if that diameter works better.

in my area. I’m making architectural models with them.

There is some acylic rods of various diameters in the space. Its in the back closet area, mixed with the aluminum tube.

Sweet. Thanks, Thomas. After calling Fibertek and Industrial Plastics and
Paints in Port Coquitlam, they both have 3mm diameter rods which is the
thinnest available at both stores. Fibertek: $0.99/ 6’ rod; Industrial
Plasticd and Paints in Poco: $2.99/ 6’ rod. Thanks all for your help!

WOW. I’m shocked at the price difference. I go to IPP for a few things
on fairly regular basis; I may have to hunt around again. Thanks

As per @ashley I would check with the PET at the space and see if that’s good enough. As it’s closer to the diameter you are looking for. If it’s supported at both ends, it should work.

It’s crazy cause I used to live in Richmond and went to the IPP there and
it seemed cheaper. It’s a franchise thus perhaps different prices…I’ve
checked the prices at IPP in Poco lots and always want to purchase from
them cause their service is great but the prices are high for somethings
sometimes. I compared their 2mm thickness acrylic sheets to Rona’s and
Rona beat their price. Also Fibertek has great prices overall all the
time…
