What can you 3D print in 20 minutes?

I’m looking for ideas for cool things that can be printed quickly. I know about the frogs, but I don’t know how long the small ones take to print.

What other objects have you printed to demonstrate how a 3D printer works? I want something small that prints quickly so people can watch it print and then take it with them.

A single wall shot glass could be cool and quick too!

How long does this take?

You can print the chassis for a mini quadcopter in 20 minutes. Legs take 5 minutes, battery holder 7, and canopy 4 * 2 (there are two parts to the canopy). Let me know if you want the STLs.

Thanks, @Big_Mak! I think people will like both Marvin and the Minecraft creeper. The adults might like the shot glass, but I suppose I’d have to warn them against actually drinking from it!

@Jarrett, I’m not sure I’d want to make those planetary gears, but you did remind me of the Nautilus gears. I had intended to borrow that as well, but I didn’t see it in the bin.

I’ll print one or two of those for demonstration. Thanks for the idea!

@hectorh, I’d like the STLS for the mini quadcopter parts.

Thanks!

The nautilus gears were broken/lost a few months ago, but there are lots of STLs to reprint them on thingiverse.
