I think the coffee maker is trying to decontaminate the space. It always depends on your point of view.
I say Nuke The Coffee Maker, it is the Enemy!
That or it is an unlabelled experiment. Don’t laugh, it has been done before (“French fries with that?”).
It looks like there’s a unanimous vote to toss both items. I’ll take them to appliance recycling them this coming Tuesday.
