Turning Recycled Plastics Into 3D Printer Filament (Extrusion Machine)

Looking for some help/guidance with building an Extrusion Machine and Shredder Machine in order to turn recycled plastic waste into 3D printer filament. The end goal is to create recylced 3D printer filament which can then be used to create plastic products that are of high waste, such as plastic utensils. This, in turn, will help Vancouver with it’s plastic waste footprint.

The step by step modules for the machines we need to build are posted on https://preciousplastic.com/en/

Any advice, guidance or comments are welcome!

What kind of questions do you have? It might be a good idea to drop by the open house and talk to some of the 3D people.

I’ve looked into these machines from Precious Plastics and I think they’re wonderful. Good on ya for attempting to build them.

Post any specific questions on here and I’m sure we’ll do what we can to help. Better yet, stop by VHS and find some collaborators.
