Is there anyone who can teach me how to use a laser cutter?
I just joined, and I have worked with lasers before, but I would really like someone to teach me the basics.

Welcome to VHS!
VHS is run by members, who all volunteer their time to help out. There is no paid staff.
Training sessions happen fairly often for the laser cutter, however VHS does rely on volunteers to do this.
Your post in the laser training thread is the correct place to request training. Asking in multiple places will not get you trained faster. 
A laser training session will likely be scheduled in the next few weeks.
