Thickness Sander Conveyor Belt

After seeing a photo of the wood shop, it appears that someone has damaged the conveyor belt on the thickness sander. I’m not looking to play a blame game, but does anyone know what happened? Was the roller misaligned and someone continued to use it?

More importantly, is it still misaligned? Can someone people put an OUT OF ORDER sign on it until we suss out what is wrong?

Out of order sign is placed. If someone feels qualified to look at it, feel free and post results here.

Otherwise I’ll take a quick look before the “Illuminate This” board build night on Wednesday.
