@chadleaman got VHS a spare Tinkerine.
The original plan was to canibalize for parts, but I turned it on, it seems to run fine.
I have now placed it next to the OG tinkering and dubbed it the TWINkerine.
Caveat:
- the knob is sticky and sometimes unresponsive
- the card reader is picky about the SD card
- missing some screws on the back panel
I’d honestly keep this one running since the hot end doesn’t leak like the old one.
PS. I printed a calibration cat and the dimensional accuracy was pretty good. less than 0.25mm in all directions.
