Like a disco ball? Amy’s Loonie Toonie Town on Davie (between thurlow and burrard) has those. We got one there about 5 inches in diameter/

6 or 7 bucks I think? I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it was less
than ten. They have a bunch of smaller sizes as well.
It may be possible to use a glass Christmas tree decoration as a smooth mirror ball. If you cant find a silver one, many have a coloured surface coating that can be removed with acetone. The mirrored (aluminum) surface is usually under the glass, so it will be unaffected by the solvent. Of course, solvent will probably ruin plastic balls, so be sure it’s glass.
