We’re ecstatic to announce that on September 21st, Vancouver Hack Space (VHS) will be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a series of exciting events. Join us in celebrating this very special occasion with space tours, maker talks, a combo-party with Maker Faire Vancouver and much more!
What’s Happening:

(Noon – 6pm) OPEN HOUSE
VHS members will give you a tour, show off cool projects, and answer any questions you have. Many of our members share an interest in 3D printers, laser cutting, machining, crafting, electronics, robotics, programming, electronic music, and art. All ages welcome. -
(6pm - 8pm) SHOW AND TELL
Have you made something amazing? Are you in the process of building something that will become amazing? Are you just starting out and want to talk to people about your amazing idea? Come to VHS and tell us about it. Bring your projects! -
(8pm – Late) SUPER HAPPY HACKER HOUSE & MAKERFAIRE AFTER-PARTY
A night for VHS members, friends, and their guests including makers and volunteers from Maker Faire Vancouver 2019. Join us for socializing, lightning talks, exciting door prizes, adult beverages, and super happy hacker games. Ages 19+. -
(11pm) LIGHTNING TALKS
Short 2 minute talks on any subject that you want. Share you project and learn what others are working on. Speakers receive a special challenge coin.
What is VHS?
Vancouver Hack Space is the first and longest-running makerspace in Vancouver. It’s operated by a BC registered nonprofit, the Vancouver Hack Space Society. We provide a community workshop where members use 3D printing, woodworking, metalworking, welding, laser cutting, sewing, electronics, and other tools to work on their own projects.
We are also a community, where members help and inspire each other to build bigger and better things. VHS is open to the public every Tuesday evening from 7pm-10pm. Membership is only $60/month, and after two months members can apply for keyholder privileges, which includes 24/7 access to the space. Learn how you can become a member.
