SEEED RF Explorer - 3G Combo/6G Combo on Massdrop

Hi all,

Saw this on Massdrop:

Compact & Convenient Digital Spectrum Analyzer

The RF Explorer is a digital spectrum analyzer that allows you to see the bandwidth of digital signals. Based on a highly integrated frequency synthesizer and double balanced mixer, the RF Explorer offers superior performance in a compact, portable package. Connect it to your PC with a USB cable for extra functionality and better signal viewing.
This unit does not include RF Generator functionality. Only Spectrum Analyzer functionality is available. At checkout you will have the option to purchase the RF Explorer - 6G combo (+50).

$179.99 + 50 for the 6G combo. Seems like it would be great for amateur radio projects.

Thoughts?

Will have to look into the specs.
Looks really useful to monitor/test any RF transmitting device - I can think of several including the RF car key/garage door remotes, ESP2866 devices, sniffing for RF bugs etc.
Once I see the specs I’ll comment further.
Not sure if the front end is any better though than the SDR radios which are only between $15 and $20

Here is a short list of common SDR radios for comparison :

Two days left to decide on this, would appreciate your feedback on the spec
