Hey everyone!
I’m wondering if anyone is open to take on a little project. I got a snap setter (for leatherwork), and the metal post has the wrong threading for my snap setter dies. I have the correct steel, cut to the correct size. I just need someone to mill the appropriate sized hole in the end of the cylinder so I can tap the right threads into it, and to drill a hole through the side for a stopper pin. There is a key milled into the original, but I don’t believe it is necessary. My terminology may be way off here - my milling knowledge is marginally more than 0.
Happy to pay/donate/trade leather goods or my leatherwork knowledge and experience. Full disclosure, I’m not a member, but a MMC volunteer and volunteer at the Vancouver Tool Library.
Thanks,
Matt
