Hey all,

Is there any news on whether the old tenants will give us access to Cook Street?

I know several folks have said @funvill is looking into this, but he assures me that he is not.

Can we get a check in from the person handling this? If you need help, please let us know.

@funvill is not. @lafto is the point of contact.

But we just got news today!The current tenants are amenable to the idea, but they need an inspection to get their damage deposit back. The landlord (probably) is okay with this.He is out of town until Thursday, though, so there will be no further news until Friday.

Hey Andrew & All,

I’m the one working on getting us early access to the Cook Street location. Here is the latest (as of about 30min ago):

  • Both the current tenant and the landlord want to help us in this regard
  • Current tenant just wants to get things cleared with the landlord for their damage deposit first and be assured they aren’t on the hook for insurance (completely reasonable)
  • Landlord is out of town until Thursday, and will begin looking into helping us sort this Friday

The absolute soonest we would gain access is this Friday but it’s far more likely that it would be next week, hopefully early next week but it’s still uncertain at this point.

Just to make it crystal clear.
The move out committee has completed their task and are disbanding.

Special thank you to @wander who was there for EVERY pack up session and was a tremendous help.

Thank you @Jarrett for taking over while I was on vacation. Taking down the wall, and cleaning up the space, and moving everything in to the Powell street storage location.
