I’m a theatrical designer, currently doing the technical direction for a show in creation. I’m coming up against something outside of my breadth.
The choreographer has purchased a small RC cockroach they want to use in the show but it needs some MAJOR improvements/redesigns/rebuilds to be usable/reliable
Namely:
It currently uses an IR remote, needs to be RF
It currently has very low range
It currently can only go forward or turn right, not go backwards and/or turn left.
I’m looking for someone who might be able to design us a new robot, one that can travel for good. Would be a paid contract.

With reference to your post on the forum about needing a RC cockroach prop, I’d be more than happy to help. Is it possible for you to share the pictures of the current prop with something for the scale? Maybe a coin? It seems like a fun and straightforward project
