My coffee pot is leaking. Safe fixes?

I have a cuisinart coffee pot. the handle, top rim, and lip are all from one molded piece of plastic. It was fine for about 3 months but now it’s turned into a comedy dribble glass. How would you fix the leak if you were going to drink out of it a few times a day? Replacing the pot costs more than replacing the entire coffee maker, which HP-printer-level stupid.

Thank you!

some kind of food-safe silicone sealant? I.e. something simliar to tub
caulk but without a mildew inhibitor.

Use aquarium silicone: All-Glass Black Aquarium Silicone - 3 oz.

Will that stuff handle the heat of hot coffee safely? I don’t see a temp
rating.

only one way to find out

ASI brand states up to +233C Aquarium Silicone Sealant

All-Glass does not have a statement on their website All-Glass Silicone Aquarium Sealant regarding temperature.
