I’m giving up my old habit of 3d printing for a while. I’d like my old rig to go to a good hacker home.
The printer is in full working order and just needs the hotend cleaned. It’s a notoriously reliable machine, I’ve only tuned it 2 times in the ~30 months I’ve had it. This thing is a beast and is reliable enough for you to make a smart-ass retort when someone tauntingly asks how long it’s been since you last fixed it.
That said it is a slightly older model and would need an upgrade before someone could take the bed over 60C (needs 24v PSU upgrade to go higher).A new machine with the PSU upgraded retails for $1825US plus shipping, the PSU upgrade is $320US plus shipping. Mechanically, new M2s and mine are identical, and produce the same quality of prints.
I’ll also be throwing in the remainder of my 3D material, 11 rolls of material, 5 are brand new, the rest are about 25% full. As well as a giant 1’ wide roll of Kapton tape. These items are free and required as part of the deal, they’re taking up valuable apartment space.
- Metal frame and precision motion components, includes a mounted tool kit with all hex keys for every screw
- Large 8"x10"x8" build envelope
- 11 rolls of filament
- 1’ x 40’ roll of Kapton tape
All this for $650, non-negotiable, must be picked up from my place.
