Hi all,
As a team building exercise my workplace has announced that there will be a Sumo Robot competition. I’m thinking about entering, and I’m looking for a sumo bot, and even a ring to practice in.
Since the competition is in less than a month, I’m looking for a prebuilt platform. Another competitor is buying one of these: Zumo Robot for Arduino [v1.2] : ID 1639 : $109.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
So, does anyone:
a) Have a Sumo Robot they aren’t using that is under 14 x 14 cm and 400 grams that they’d like to sell?
b) Has a Sumo Robot competition ring (100 cm) lying around that they’d loan out/like to sell reasonably?
Thanks for reading!
- Andrew

Here are the rules for those who are interested:
Here’s the basic rules:

- diameter ~100cm.
- matte black in color.
- 5cm solid white border.
- Two parallel starting lines in the center.
