Seed bombs?! What are seed bombs?
They’re a great way to do some guerrilla gardening. If you have property that you own*, but no easy physical access, you can throw these balls into the area, and hopefully, wildflowers will sprout up and prettify the ugly lot, as well as provide nourishment for the local bee population.
There will be no cost. This workshop is open to members or non-members alike, as long as you RSVP via the poll in this thread. Monday, March 24, starting 5pm and going until seeds are gone, or 8pm
I will be bringing a big bin of wildflower seed packets, some clay, and some compost. Enough for a sizeable amount of seedbombs, once I’m out, I’m out.
So feel free to bring your own additional seeds or other materials, if you have them! More variety is always welcome.
I have no real idea what I’m doing, but I think the wildflowers I have want to be planted right after the last frost, during the rainy season. Which is essentially now.
I planted some last year in early summer and they are very dense and green, but probably too late for a lot of blooming.
- I’ll be there
- I can’t make it but would attend another time
