We had a request for a daytime weekday class so I’ll be running laser training next Tuesday, 7 Feb, in the early afternoon. If anyone else wants in then we will nail down the exact time that works for the most people.
As always, training fee is $30 which goes towards maintenance, upgrade, and upkeep of the laser and related equipment. You must be a member of VHS before the class starts in order to sign up.
Hi, How often does laser training happen ? I think it will be a month or two before I have a design ready to be cut …
Also, what are the specifications of the laser cutter, i.e. x-y dimensions ? (I’d be cutting PS sheet ~0.04" thick).
Just asking because I have yet to sign up for a membership.
Also could someone advise what version of solidworks VHS has ?
VHS has Solidworks 2014. It’s worth noting that most of us (even Solidworks
professionals) have moved over to Fusion360 because of its compatibility
and excellent licensing deal.
Training is run really regularly, whenever there are three or four people
on the waitlist. I don’t think anyone’s had to wait for more than a couple
weeks, recently.
id like to do the training, week day is fine. Is it happening this tuesday or did I see something about the laser cutter being broken? thanks. Still getting used to this new system, I keep missing messages
