Laser cutter Down!

Upon start everything seems normal but after trying to move the head I found that Lightburn started lagging. Even though the Devices shows Redsail under the LASER TAB, there is no communication between Lightburn and Redsail!
On the bottom of Lightburn you can see the message “NO DEVICE FOUND”. (See screenshot)

It seems like the controller is disconnected. I checked the USB cable and network cable, could not figure anything out though!

There is a fairly common condition where Lightburn doesn’t connect to the laser properly during startup, but I also presume this could occur for other reasons. If there are connection issues, I have had success with the ‘turn it off and on again’ method, and make sure to provide a fair bit (like >60s) of time to start the laser before loading lightburn.
