I took one of the defibrillator cabinets we had and turned it into a little free trinket library! You can find it in the entryway near Butterscotch the greeter horse.
So, what’s a “little free trinket library”? It’s a place to share small things we make. Please add things to share, and feel free to take anything you like.
I laser cut some small shelves out of scrap to put inside.
I put some cork at the top - I was thinking we could use pushpins to hang things from.
The cabinet is magnetic, so if anybody makes magnets you can stick them to the sides of the cabinet.
I’ve put a few embroidery patches in the library to start things off.
Other ideas:
- small 3d printed toys
- laser cut shapes turned into necklaces or magnets
- buttons - try out the button maker!
- use some of the jewellery supplies to make earrings or keychains
- stickers
- tiny sculptures
- origami
Please no mass produced items, though.
