Info. on the Alpine Living Air Ozone Generator welcome!

Hello,

There is a Alpine Living Air Ozone Generator (pics attached) on the desk opposite to the screw driver, pliers and other tools rack.
The unit says “Resistor R2 is Fried”.

(1) Does anyone know the output voltage this generates (from the transformer it looks in the kilo Volts range).
(2) Is hacking it to use it a High Voltage source acceptable?

The tentative plan is to combine the output of this power supply (and/or fiber laser) with 3D Printer positioning mechanism to make Metal cutter/EDM/tiny plasma etcher.

Suggestions welcome!

I also thought it was SDY’s. If it’s not, maybe you could put some tape on
it with the date, put it in the member project area, and then take it home
after two weeks?

Unless someone else owns it. It has been kicking around, untouched, for at
least three years though.

Thanks for the update @Jarrett! I will put a tape on it and date it.
There is already a note on it (with my contact info.) for the hacker working on this project to contact me.

After 2 weeks, I would be “hacking” (disassembling, modifying it, etc.).
