Free Workshop at VHS: MEMS and environmental sensors by ST Micro

ST Microelectronics will come to the Vancouver Hack Space to present and describe their solutions for interfacing with the real world. MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) are at the heart of a new generation of data collection devices used from aerospace and automotive to medical and physiological devices.

Will we need to bring a laptop for this one?

The session is too short to go through a laboratory exercise.

ST is the first vendor who has agreed to present at VHS. If this works out and there is good feedback, we may get full workshops in the future.

@hectorh Very sorry that I can no longer make this event, my wife needs to work back into the evening tomorrow so I’m on kid duty. Can someone else please take my ticket, I don’t seem to be able to cancel it.
