VIVO’s hosting a free podcasting mentorship for teens this October, led by artist Paige Smith. Paige has been teaching cinematography at VIVO and also produces SFU’s Vancity Office of Community Engagement’s podcast Below the Radar, and Sad Hill Media’s podcast Film Formally .
Anyone have suggestions for who I should send this to? I’m sending this to high school teachers I’ve worked with previously, but if you know specific folks who’d be interested, please let me know.
It’s for teens 15 to 18 years old who are interested in podcasting. The mentorship is a brief introduction to making podcasts (only 4 sessions), and stories will focus on experiences during the pandemic. Takes place over video conferencing. More info can be found here:
