Free Pioneer Receiver

Found a discarded Pioneer VSX-918 receiver in my apartment’s recycling bin. Upon powering up it goes into protective standby. When I opened the case I discovered that one of the channels had overloaded and burned some components. I wanted to repair and replace the components connected to that channel, but unfortunately the Pioneer uses a proprietary amplifier chip that can’t be replaced by a generic component easily.

The chip in question is a PAC015. Doing some searching on aliexpress shows that it ranges in price from $30-$60 usd.
I’ve given up trying to repair it, but rather than toss it back in the bin I thought I’ll offer it here to anyone who wants to tackle it. It comes with the remote and power cord.
