Hey folks, free Ranger II electric wheelchair. Differential drive steering. I have not tested this chair but was told it works properly. Includes foot rests, seat, rear tote bag. Is collapsible for transport. Includes battery boxes for the two 12V ‘8G22NF’ batteries but no batteries. The motor assemblies would be great for a robotics platform. Would also make for a decent power chair but getting support / parts will be difficult, is why it sat so long with the previous owner imho.
I will drive over to the space Tuesday evening if anyone is serious about taking it. I can offer to give you a ride and drop the chair off at your place Tuesday as well if it’s not crazy far outta town. I am not going to leave this at the space unless someone confirms it’s now their possession and they are responsible for keeping it tidy or taking it to scrap.
If no one wants this project, I’ll be dropping it off for scrap in a couple weeks. There’s currently an even better chair at Capital Salvage, full suspension etc, they come up regularly on cl and fb. So, no worries if this isn’t the right time in your life to take on a 200lbs project that may run your foot over / cause mayhem.
