The Vancouver Comics Arts Festival Education Day is May 17th. Lots of cool free workshops are being put on. These are well worth attending if you are interested in inking, comics writing, graphic novels, etc. And of course the author of Laser Moose will be doing a session on Writing Jokes for comics. The Van Comics Arts Festival is this weekend! It’s free and quite amazing. There’s a panel on creating comics for kids which includes the writer/illustrator of the books I colour (Laser Moose series).
