Is anyone here interested in a nodemcu/ESP8266 class?
Vote for your favorite model and that’s the class I’ll run.

I can bring my half finished isVHSopenGauge project as it is 8266 based…
Gives me some motivation to get it finally completed…
I use the 8266 to query the VHS status and then use a old pressure gauge (modified with a servo) to display the results…
I have 3 NodeMCUs kicking around but happy to do any work shop you give.

I’d be interested. I have a couple around somewhere. Not sure what
model…MCU I think.
interested
my plan is
15 minute - set up arduino for nodeMCU.
15 minutes - set up a call/response web server on the LAN.
15 minutes - blink an LED via web page.
15 minutes - move a servo via web page.
15 minutes - display sensor value on web page.
45 minutes - group play and discovery
total: 2h.
Class will be free. Must bring your own nodemcu, laptop, power supply, and (preferably) already have arudino installed
I have three nodeMCUs on order. Marginally Clever will be stocking them for $19.95, slightly cheaper than Lee’s. Once the arrive I will try to run some tests at VHS to confirm everything in the tutorials and then i’ll be ready to run this for a sunday class.
