Embroidery Machine Training for the new year

If you’d like to learn to use the embroidery machine,
please reply to this thread and specify which option you would like
and when you’re available.

Option 1: brief intro
Cost: free!
Duration: ~15 minutes

I will show you how to hoop your fabric, thread the machine, and
start embroidering.

Option 2: workshop
Cost:
$10 (50% donated to hackspace)
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours

I will show you how to use the Ink/Stitch plugin for Inkscape to
create your own embroidery design, and then we will embroider it.

Please bring a laptop with Inkscape
and Ink/Stitch already installed
if you can. (If you can’t, you can use my laptop or a hackspace
computer.)

And just to confirm, the cost for Option 2 is $10? (I’m guessing the %10 is a typo?)

Just bumping this - I’ve moved this weekend’s session to Saturday, but I’ve got space for another person.

And I’ve added a slot for Tuesday if there’s anybody else who’s looking for a weekday.
