Convert BNC video to VGA or Composite

I have a small video camera whose video output goes to a BNC connector. I need to plug it in to a monitor that only has VGA or composite video inputs. What is the least expensive way to do this?

The camera only cost $10 new and will be part of a deep hollowing rig for woodturning. I didn’t realize when I ordered the camera that it was BNC. I sort of assumed it would be composite… Duh.

Can you get a BNC to RCA connector?

That’s too easy. I’ll swing by Lee’s and pick one up. Thanks!

Maybe you’ll want one of these too: http://www.dx.com/p/kitbon-usb-2-0-audio-video-capture-card-vhs-vcr-dvr-tv-to-dvd-converter-adapter-484408?tc=CAD&ta=CA&gclid=Cj0KCQjw5NnbBRDaARIsAJP-YR9U4KgAt3kHpyma84QsVgGiZ3y6HSdCuLCtZQsbhUHyFFk2XumYMDkaAqGfEALw_wcB

@toma - Thanks for the suggestion but, no. It is very interesting, though. I will be connecting directly to the monitor. I’m modifying my deep hollowing system (a woodturning thing) to something like this:

By putting a clear plastic sheet over the monitor screen and tracing around the business end of the hollowing tool, you can see where your tool is inside the vessel relative to the outside of the vessel. Here is a short YouTube video that explains it better.

@mike - this might be something that you would be interested in making.
