Links to other good vids? Let’s make a collection.
Don’t have any vids but man I would be happy to have something like that at the space.
What does a decent CNC for wood go for these days? Perhaps something we can raise a little money for? I know I would pitch in a couple hundred.
$6,799.00
That particular one anyway.
Way overpriced for that size workarea, especially for something with a single long axis ballscrew. I’d budget $2-2.5k to build something super nice in that sort of size, or similar to buy something in that size which would be stiff enough.
If I can sell my large CNC router here, i was hoping to use the money to build another at VHS if there is room for it, they are really great tools to have. They complement a laser perfectly, there are many jobs when I didnt have the laser that I needed the tiny kerf of a laser, but then the laser cant engrave or do thick materials like a router can.

I got to see something like this in the flesh when I had the opportunity to go to IMTS in Chicago in 2008. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVHmkZngUHQ this was impressive from for sure. spent the better part of 15 minutes standing watching the machines go at it.
Some CNC Porn off the mill in the last couple of days.
