The part shown in the link is discontinued and I wasn’t able to find a substitute at Home Depot or Canadian Tire. Does anyone here know of any other local source that would stock these types of washers?
There is a generic “faucet repair kit” you can buy at Rona or Home Depot that has a random selection of washers and gaskets. I used that to repair my squeaky kitchen taps. That might have it?
I ended up buying one of those kits, but it was from a different brand and the washers contained in the kit are of a slightly different size. I was able to jury-rig a solution by combining parts from the old drain with those of the replacement.
However, I’d prefer to buy the washers individually for future repairs.
If it’s nylon sheet. It seems discontinued. You’re best bet is to make one on a lathe. Or McMaster and find something of the same size. For the o ring part. Reddit said someone used a home Depot sized oring.
