VHS table/booth at Vancouver Mini Maker Faire?

Steve and I where wondering if there is going to be a VHS table/booth at VMMF? We would like to help organize and staff that booth. This would be different then the soldering station or the Maker Van - a dedicated VHS information table/booth.

We where wondering if we could set up the light wall that was in the bunker before the move, plus have some other projects on display.

We could hand out brochures, talk the talk, and generally promote the hell out of VHS.

Is there a Key person who has done this/is doing this now?

I have the pop up table top display and the 5ft red/blue/purple
programmable LED display you can use.

Anyone know the status of this?

I think @jon is planning on running the learn to solder table.
It would be great to have a separate table/booth for VHS.

I would love to see you two organize it. @KevMacD and @SteveRoy Submissions are due tomorrow so I would just get together and submit it on behave of VHS.

Do it!

Brenda Martins ran the info booth last year, she might have some good ideas on what works well.

Just checking, did someone submit the application for the non soldering VHS booth?

Yes.

@KevMacD/@SteveRoy I’m putting together the post for the volunteers; I’m also going to ask for volunteers for the info booth.

Thanks @TyIsI
We are looking for volunteers for the info booth at VMMF

We have 5 weekend tickets available for crew/volunteers, however to qualify you must put in 4 hours (plus) working on the booth, or helping with the load-in/load-out.

We would also like to showcase some recent projects that members have done.

Hey Steve

Put me down for Saturday morning for the booth. I will bring the tabletop
display unit first thing in the morning.

@steveroy do you also want the programmable LED display we used last year?
