There is a new regular meeting for 3D printer enthusiasts on Saturdays from 10-1. During this time I will put on a 30-40 minute presentation on some topic around 3D printing - Building, sourcing parts, designing, printing, training on the shoebox printers or whatever occurs to me at the time. I am hoping some of the other Keyholder-3D printer types can contribute and cover the occasional Saturday that I may have to miss.
Please let me know if you are interested in a particular topic, have a special request, or even if you are just interested in dropping in during this time.
VHS will be open to all members during this event.
Sounds good. I had assumed that time was every weekend already, but this weekend proved me wrong on that. That old saying, “Assuming makes an ass out of you and me” comes to mind
My most productive times are Saturday mornings, sure while there were some more early riser keyholders around at that time. I guess I’ll just bide my time until I can apply for key holder status.
Topic wise, interested to hear about printing alternate filament types. Nylon, PET, wood fill, brass fill, etc.
Sorry @interlock. I was doing a very low key drop-in session before the move but my schedule has changed and I have not been able to commit to starting them up again. But I’ll join you guys this Saturday and we can get a few more people trained.
