Hi everyone, I’m a machinist, and I’d like to get an orientation for the manual mill & Lath. Could someone guide me on how to arrange this? Appreciate any help
I am happy to announce that packetbob has been vetted for the large lathe. He is meticulous and thoughtful about his actions and has a good grasp of safety and cleanliness.
It was a pleasure to spend time with him and I am looking forward to seeing him in the machine shop.
I have instructed him to put some money into the VHS piggy bank.

Mitchell took his big lathe orientation last night and passed with flying colours. He is careful and meticulous about his approach and followed all the procedures for starting and finishing with the lathe. Welcome to the machine shop Mitchell!

My slack is NicoD. I’m helping out the woodshop committee repair the table saw on Sunday at 10:30, but once we finish with that it would be super convenient to jump over to the metal shop
