I am Looking for electrical help

I have an old RV where the converter has died. I bought a new one. I thought I would use my volt meter and try my hand at replacing it. Upon opening up the 1984 wiring, I realized I was over my head. So much more wiring than I expected. Anyone know someone who might be able to take on what might be an hour long job? Comfortable with DC, 12 volt and AC? I am open to work arounds, but nice having a fridge, furnace, pump and lighting.

Thanks
Leon

Still looking?

Yes, Its a job that still needs doing.

Suggest posting details about what the “converter” is. What did you buy? Will help Brolin determine what needs doing.

Well its an AC to Dc converter. But thats no the whole issue. Wiring leads back and through from the furnace, from the fridge, from external 12 volt batteries, from the alternator… what I thought would be simple, isnt.

My father can probably help you. Please email him at brian.empey@gmail.com .
