I spent some time entering my home inventory into PartsBox.io. However I haven’t really looked at it since. I’m not in the habit of decrementing inventory as I use parts, so the inventory numbers are never accurate. Currently my best system is just a folder hierarchy full of PDF datasheets. That tells me what I have, what I’ve used before, and is a pretty good way for me to “go shopping” through my inventory.
For VHS’ parts, I made a google sheet a while back. I’ve used it a couple time when I need to “go shopping” for a power mosfet or whatever.
I could see myself using a VHS-hosted parts database, both for VHS inventory and my own inventory.
