Does anyone want to trade a quick MIG lesson for a blacksmithing session?

Hello!

I’ve got some experience with using a MIG welder, but I’m a bit rusty. I’ve got a project that’ll involve a lot of welding that I’ve got my eye on this summer and I’d like to familiarize myself with the MIG before using one again. If anyone is interested in walking me through the etiquette and use of the MIG at VHS I can walk you through the use of the VHS’s new charcoal forge - we could try to make a ring or a railroad spike knife or starting a project of your own. I’m a seasoned beginner on the forge and can teach the fundamentals of forging without imparting bad habits.

You should do a session with the forge for members, people will love that.
