EXTENDED Deadline: December 31, 2015
Arnica Artist-Run Centre is seeking proposals for small-to-medium
sized illuminated sculptures that project light, shape light, transmit light,
reflect light, contain light, or demonstrate the absence of light. Artists
are encouraged to explore and combine unconventional materials that
respond to light in different ways, and spark thought about illuminating
dark spaces in our winter environment.
Pending funding, Arnica ARC will make every effort to paid CARFAC
group exhibition fee to artists. Otherwise, shipping and travel is at the
artist’s expense. Artists with successful proposals will be contacted by
Jan 15, 2015. For difficult or complex installation that requires
significant technical expertise artists may be expected to assist during
installation February 2-5, 2015 and takedown March 12, 2016.
The exhibition will run February 6 to March 12, 2016 at Arnica Artist-
Run Centre, Kamloops, BC www.ArnicaArtistRunCentre.ca
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
While works of varying scale, shape, and placement (floor, wall, ceiling,
plinth) will be considered, space is limited.
Pieces that measure 60 cm / 2’ or less on the floor are preferred.
Vertical height can be up to 2.5m / 8’.
Recommended that the piece have either a self-contained energy
source or is powered through interaction with the viewer, as power
outlets are limited.
Remember that the Gallery will be dimmed for this exhibition.

Exhibition (Working Title: Light It Up) will run February 6 to March 12,
2016.
