@bruce and I have been talking about a niche PCB design tool for probably over a year.
Its name is PCBmodE, and it creates amazing, gorgeous circuit boards. Some of them look like this:
Most of these are 100% working, functional PCBs! Not all of them, that’s not a requirement for something that can be considered art.
Unfortunately, neither of us have the time or a good excuse to play around with PCBmodE. So this is a post to spread the word, and maybe inspire someone else to design something beautiful!
This might be a great application for it. I’m happy to supply WS2812B LEDs if it helps create a rad project.
Previous experience with PCB design tools is totally unnecessary, because this is unlike anything you’ve ever used before.
