A talk of interest to hackspace members tonight at SFU

Hi everyone, I know it’s a bit late notice but there’s a talk tonight at SFU by a well known Stanford professor who is a real hacker and maker by any definition of the word. Manu Prakash designed a laser cut paper microscope to detect malaria and a centrifuge which doesn’t require electricity. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what he’s come up with since then. It’s free and open to the public. If anyone wants to attend I can help you with finding the lecture hall it’s in.
