Anyone who has hacked 3D printers previously (custom pottery/ceramic print heads, etc. or printhead positioning), please share your experiences.

Check out this thread - RAMPS with solenoid for air pressure extrusion

I hooked up a solenoid with a flyback diode to my RAMPS board for one of my projects and controlled it I think with the Heating Bed pins? It’s been a while since I’ve worked on it, but it did work.
